This past weekend was one for the books. Kicking the weekend off at NEECAN to wrapping up with Earl-A-Whirl at Earl Giles Distillery, the weekend was filled with non-stop energy, good people, and unforgettable moments. From networking with some of the biggest names in cannabis to spending the weekend surrounded by creativity, culture, and community, it was a real reminder of how quickly Minnesota’s cannabis community continues to grow, evolve, and connect with one another. The amount of passion and all the elevated support packed into a few days was something special and a real reflection of how connected the industry truly is.

We kicked things off Thursday through Friday at NEECAN (New England’s Cannabis Conference). The event created an atmosphere focused on leadership, innovation, and education throughout the cannabis industry. One of the highlights of the event was the Women’s Lounge, empowered by Minnesota’s Women’s Cannabis Collective. The space created a welcoming environment for women in cannabis to be seen, access mentorship, and be guided with steps to fully immerse themselves in their leadership while continuing to build community within the industry. You could feel the support, empowerment, and passion throughout the room in every conversation. From cultivation and branding to education, there were so many strong voices sharing knowledge and experiences. This event was not just about people talking business; it was about the cannabis community really wanting to help each other to grow and succeed in something much more elevated together.

After NEECAN, we kept the momentum going at Cannaconnects after-party hosted at the historic Minneapolis Club. Walking into that room felt like stepping into a cannabis power meeting mixed with a family reunion in the best way possible. Everywhere you turned, there were cultivators, creatives, entrepreneurs, advocates, and industry elites all connecting over the same passion for the plant and the rooted culture surrounding it. The conversations throughout the night were some of the best parts. One minute you are talking about marketing and growth strategies, and the next you're laughing with someone you met a few hours earlier as if you've known them forever. That's one big thing about the cannabis industry: it has a way of bringing people together naturally. Everyone came with different experiences and different goals, but the energy in the room felt united. You could tell everyone was excited, not just for where cannabis is now, but for where it's headed next for everyone in the industry.

Then came Friday through Sunday, the excitement continued at Earl Giles Distillery’s Earl-A-Whirl event. The entire weekend felt like one giant elevated celebration of cannabis culture, music, art, and, of course, community. Live music by artist Dessa and entertainment from many vendors brought together such a unique mix of people and experiences. Everywhere you looked, people were connecting and just enjoying being part of something bigger than themselves. What stood out most is that cannabis is about so much more than just products; It's about education, creativity, networking, culture, and bringing people together, reminding us why community remains at the center of everything we do.

Weekends like this are about more than just events; they're about building relationships and supporting one another. This helps us all to continue to grow in this industry together. We are grateful to everyone who stopped by our booth to connect with us and to everyone who helped put on these memorable events.
